2020 Facility Plan-Milwaukee
Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD)
The MMSD’s facility plan
will serve a benchmark for
environmentally responsible
agencies and provide a visionary
roadmap to dramatically improve
water quality. The 5-year
project will study the MMSD’s
systems (plants, conveyance
systems, watercourse, flow
monitoring, etc.) on a watershed
basis. Norris & Associates
performed data assessment and
development, GIS development,
assisting the hydraulic
analysis, and sanitary sewershed
map review and refinement. In
addition, NAI wrote the DATA
MANAGEMENT VISION & GIS
DEVELOPMENT.
Private Property I/I Reduction Program-Milwaukee
Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) The project
reviewed existing information on
sources of I/I in current
District interceptors and
satellite sewer systems. Each
sewershed in the system was
studied and prioritized by scale
of I/I. Once prioritized, the
most cost effective means of
reducing the I/I and capital
planning level implementation
strategy will be determined. NAI
provided evaluation and created
GIS mappingt.
Marquette Interchange Project-Wisconsin
Department of Transportation (WisDOT)

Interchange, a main thoroughfare
for millions of commuters
driving through downtown
Milwaukee each day. NAI’s
involvement in the project
includes water main relocations,
utility coordination, drafting,
and GIS mapping.
